And to reflect Octavian's dominions, renowned interior designer Miranda Holland-Cooper has decorated the villa with rare fabrics, treasures and antiques from Britain, Europe, Egypt, India and China.

Bedrooms:	Bed 1 Four poster room: largest room, mountain views Bed 2 Bird of paradise room: double bed, exquisite sea views. Bed 3 Blue room: double bed, sea/mountain views. Bed 4 Dancing camels: twin, mountain views. Bed 5 Twin: can be made up on request.
Bathrooms:	En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath, shower room, wc. En-suite shower room to bedroom 2 with wc. En-Suite shower room to bedroom 3 with wc. En-suite shower room to bedroom 4 with wc. Wc and wash basin on ground floor by morning coffee room.
Kitchen:	Very large fully equipped kitchen with island. Appliances from Whirlpool include, cooker, hob, small fridge, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and toaster. The kitchen overlooks the swimming pool and superb sea and mountain views.
Utility Room:	Washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.
Living Rooms:	Large living room with sofas for 10 persons, state of the art satellite/DVD/entertainment system with 40" Sony full high definition digital TV. Open Fireplace. Spectacular views over the sea. Dining room with 10 person dining table. French windows.
Other:	A coffee morning room is located by the kitchen which can be changed into a fifth bedroom on request. The first floor has a Moroccan style hammock tower ideal for reading and the all important siesta, with open 360 degrees views of sea and mountains.
Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service:	Cleaning service is every 2 days. At your request this can be reduced for those you who value their privacy. Towels and linen are included. Sheets are changed twice a week. Pool towels are also included.

Notes on accommodation
Villa Octavius has, off from the main entrance, a small office with computer with 24 hours broad band internet and Wi-Fi free of charge. All rooms have air-conditioning/heating included. This villa due to its many fine furnishings is not suitable for young children. The private pool is a walk in pool making it easy to get in and out.

Accessibility
Due to the number of steps in the villa gardens, and the fact that the villa is on top of a hill this villa is unsuitable for people with walking difficulties.

Outside
A private 45m2 swimming pool is located on a 200m2 patio with barbecue. Also on this patio there is a shaded dining area. 10 sunbeds are included in this area as well. Steps lead to to a very private walled jacuzzi garden, two sides of this garden give you views of the dramatic high mountains to the west over a olive grove valley. The best time for the jacuzzi is at night as the night sky and stars are stunning! Villa Octavius has many stone terraces with flower beds on all corners. Scented flowers and herbs are all around together with palms and bird of paradise flowers. At night special plants give off lovely scents. The BBQ is located by the swimming pool and is a great place to have a party. (A chef can be arranged for any meals or parties that you may wish to have (price on request). A large gated parking area has lush garden borders.

Coast/Beach
There are many beaches on the island of Lefkas. Some spectacular. The closest beaches are less than 5 mins drive away. To the north at Lefkas town you will find Windmill beach famous for kite boarding. To the south at Vassiliki the beach is famous for windsurfing and cat sailing. Beaches to the west coast are stunning and easily found by car.

Travel
Preveza (PVK) is the nearest airport approx 40 mins drive from Villa Octavius. Flights from many UK airports operate from May till the end of October. Flights from Holland and Scandinavian countries also come to Preveza. UK flight are usually on Sundays, Fridays and Wednesdays. Flights from Holland are on Saturdays.

Distances
The coastal village of Nidri is 1.5km from Villa Octavius. Lefkas town only 15kms away.

Further details
The nearest centre for shops, bars, banks and tavernas is Nidri only 5 mins by car. This is also a yachting centre and where you can find many excursions on sale. Steve the owner of Villa Octavius runs an excursion called Sunset and Stars (special rates for villa guests). The villa also has a Mead LX200 10" telescope which Steve and I will be happy to set up for any guests that may be interested. Full snorkelling equipment and guided snorkelling trips can also be provided by Steve (price on request).
