Bareboat
To take a boat out bareboat you must have the necessary qualifications and/or experience to take the boat out on your own for the day and return it safely to our base. The boats are licensed for no more than 6 people. On your first day you will meet us at our office at 9.30 am to do paperwork and security deposit. You will then be taken down to the pontoon to have a thorough safety brief and be shown around the boat and also how to use the engine provided. The boat must be back by 6pm and on your first day you will be met in by one of our instructors.
If you are taking the boat for more than one day it is available to you after the first day from 9am – 6pm.
For our guests staying in a villa or hotel with access to a secure and safe mooring/pontoon we are more than happy to deliver the boat to you and for you to have it there for the duration of the rental. We are licensed to sail up to ten miles from our base in Nidri on Lefkas Island.
Tuition
The average day depending on weather conditions will start at 9.30am and finish at 5pm. While it is a training day and majority of the day will be spent learning and practising new techniques you are still on holiday so the day will include swim stops and lunch at one of the local tavernas. (If you wish to have a picnic in one of the bays please let us know in advance so your instructor can organise lunch for themselves).
On boats doing tuition we take a minimum of two students and a maximum of four.
Skippered
For those of you wanting to enjoy a day out on a boat without the hard work we can provide you with one of our experienced instructors for the day. The day will start from 9.30am and consist of sailing around the local islands, visiting the famous island of Scorpios (owned by the late Aristotle Onassis) for swimming, snorkelling and the continuing on to Meganissi or Lefkas for lunch.
The afternoon can be spent doing as little or as much sailing as you like (depending on the wind behaving itself!) The day finishes at 5pm back at our base in Nidri.
We can also do skippered charters for those of you staying on Meganissi. On skippered charters we take a maximum of 5 persons on board.

The Boats
This cruiser racer also fondly known as the ‘pocket rocket’ is both safe and fast. It is completely unsinkable with its carefully positioned buoyancy foam. It has a lifting keel for performance and stability and two lifting rudders to give you ease of steering no matter the point of sailing or wind strength. These boats are perfect for sailing around the local areas as no matter how busy it gets you can always squeeze them into a spot! They keep up well with the rest of the boats in the area open slyly sailing past them due to their lightness. For those days where the wind isn’t behaving we have a 6hp tilting engine fixed to the back of the boat to get you to those wind spots.
All boats have just been fitted with brand new Quantam Sails for the 2010 season.
Bareboat and skippering prices are per boat while Tuition Levels 1 and 2 are priced per person. If the boat is filled (max four people) then the cost is reduced to €150/€170 depending on the season.
All prices include fuel and damage waiver.
